Key activities
Elizabeth Ryan is the Manager of the UN Global Compact Cities Programme (UNGCCP), the urban arm of the UN Global Compact which is hosted by RMIT.
In her role with the UNGCCP, Elizabeth is responsible for building partnerships with international organisations, city engagement and the Programme's growth, its communications and resource base. She is also responsible for UNGCCP's relationship with the University, its integration with, and contribution to, RMIT education and research.
With the UNGCCP Research Manager, Elizabeth has recently established the UNGCCP URBAN Post-Graduate Research Incubator which fosters research expertise and international mobility through mentored research connected to UNGCCP cities and their projects. Elizabeth has a background in business development and partnership management, with particular expertise and interest in facilitating cross sectoral partnerships and projects that return benefits to all.
