Developing the Researchers - Research Student Nexus and Improving Productivity
The College of Business has kindly invited Professor Marjorie Zatz to run a seminar on 'Developing the Researchers - Research Student Nexus and Improving Productivity'.
The School of Graduate Research in conjunction with Monash University has been successful in receiving funds from the Fulbright Visiting Specialist Scheme to host a series of events for Prof Zatz from the Arizona State University in the last two weeks of March. During these two weeks, Prof Zatz will be speaking to the Research Committee, delivering seminars and workshops as part of both 'On - track' and 'Supervisors' Colloquium', and consultations with senior staff in Research & Innovation (R&I).

About the Speaker
Professor Marjorie Zatz is an eminent sociologist/criminologist and a member of the graduate faculty for the Ph.D. program in the Environment and Social Sciences in the Arizona State University. Her research and teaching interests address the ways in which race, ethnicity, and gender impact juvenile and criminal court processing and sanctioning; the social construction of race and gender;Chicano/a gangs; and comparative justice, particularly Latin American legal systems. Prof Zatz is well equipped to talk on a range of topics related to research, research development and research training.
