Professional development days, School of Design TAFE, 2010
"Putting students at the centre of the education experience" was the theme for the professional development days for teaching staff that took place in June 2010. Over two days, Wednesday 9th and 16th June, staff had the opportunity to participate in a range of workshops including problem-based learning, student-directed learning, effective feedback and rubrics for graded assessment.
In each session, presenters provided relevant case studies to enable teachers to see these principles in action. The four workshops were repeated over the two days, allowing teachers to attend them all.
This video was produced to give teaching staff relevant feedback from their students.
