Building 9 – Design Studios (9.3.4A, 9.3.4B, 9.3.5A, 9.3.5B, 9.3.6A, 9.3.6B)

Overview

The design studios provide spaces for media/communications students to collaborate of design projects.

Each pair of studios (4A/4B, 5A/5B, 6A/6B) is connected via vertical tri-fold doors, which can be opened for larger group interactivity. When closed, these doors function as whiteboard space for student collaboration and display.

Key features

Seating	25 seats per room, in groups of up to five around project tables (joined pairs can seat up to 50)
Display	Two main projectors displaying on white walls Two portable interactive whiteboards ('teamboards') in each of 5A/5B Two portable mounted LCD screens in each room
Other technology	Power-points and network points provided near all project tables
