APEC Study Centre
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Study Centre at RMIT University’s College of Business, together with its component facility, the Melbourne APEC Finance Centre, promote Australia’s, Victoria’s and RMIT’s strategic, economic, social and educational objectives throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The Centre also manages training programs, conferences and symposia on issues related to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Centre for Sustainable Organisations and Work
The Centre for Sustainable Organisations and Work promotes and facilitates social science research in these areas, giving particular attention to the Asia Pacific region. The Centre encourages theoretically informed analysis to underpin informed evidence-based policy and practice. It has an interdisciplinary focus covering business and labour law, employment relations, organisational studies, industrial relations, gender studies, globalisation and logistics, political economy, sociology and business and labour history.

Smart Services Cooperative Research Centre
The Smart Services CRC is a $120m, commercially focused collaborative research initiative, developing innovation, foresight and productivity improvements for the services sector. The services sector is the nation’s largest, representing approximately 80 per cent of Australia’s GDP and 85 per cent of employment. Within the services industries Smart Services’ initial programs are customer-focused with outcomes translatable across the whole services sector.
