Community and alumni library memberships
We offer membership to individuals in the community, corporate membership and membership to graduates and former staff members of RMIT University who are the Alumni Access members.

Databases, e-journals and e-books access
Access to our subscription-based online resources is not included in the Library membership for community and alumni.
Membership rates (GST inclusive)

RMIT Alumni Access (Who are RMIT alumni?):
- 3 months: $55.00
- 6 months: $88.00
- 12 months: $154.00
Individuals:
- 3 months: $55.00
- 6 months: $110.00

Corporate (2 cards available):
- 3 months: $165.00
- 6 months: $275.00
- 12 months: $440.00
Please note that we provide the corporate membership to allow employees of corporations access our Library. Organisations conducting educational programs should contact the University Librarian.
Apply for library membership
You will need to fill in an Application for Access to Basic Services (DOC, 96 KB, 1 page) form. Printed copies of this form are available from the Service Desk at each Library. A borrowing card will be issued to you after the application has been received and monies have been paid.
Evidence of identity, such as a driver’s licence and alumni membership will be required. Go to the RMIT Alumni site to join, and for further information.
