‘Laboratory medicine is all about how to detect diseases through lab tests. My studies have not only taught me how to conduct these tests but also why we conduct them, for which diseases and how to understand the results obtained. The best part about it was the 40 weeks of placement.

‘The city is multicultural, and as an international student, I find myself adapting to the surroundings quite easily. I chose RMIT because the postgraduate program it offers emphasises both theory and practice.
For my PhD in Architecture and Design, I have the option of conducting the research either by project or thesis. I find this to be a good approach in diversifying the research fields.
The school also conducts a Graduate Research Conference every semester to allow students, supervisors and invited panels to engage in discussions about the research works.
