Awards honour top RMIT academics
RMIT University has celebrated the outstanding effort and commitment of academic staff at the 2011 Teaching and Research Awards.

RMIT Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Margaret Gardner AO, said the 32 awards recognised the exemplary achievements of the University's academic staff in their teaching and research endeavours.
"Ultimately, it is the work of dedicated people such as these that makes a positive difference within the University and enables us to achieve our goals, both individually and collectively," Professor Gardner said.
"Flowing from the efforts of RMIT staff, the University's achievements are increasingly recognised by industry and the wider community.
"The Teaching and Research Awards are the ultimate reflection of RMIT's core values of being creative, connected, fair and passionate and committed to making a difference."
