Professional Development for Tertiary Teaching Practice

The Professional Development for Tertiary Teaching Practice (PDTTP) is a suite of professional development modules and resources developed for academic and teaching staff.

The PDTTP is designed to build upon educators' knowledge, experience and expertise, utilise existing technologies, and align teaching practice to the RMIT Strategy to 2015, the Academic Plan 2011 - 2015, and policies and procedures.

Developed with a flexible delivery mode, the professional development modules and resources are designed for academic and teaching staff at different phases of their career:

  • Essentials: Academic and teaching staff new to RMIT
  • Sessionals: Sessional academics and teachers
  • Leadership: Mid-career and experienced academics and teachers

The PDTTP programs also offer clearly defined articulation pathways for academic and teaching staff, allowing them to gain credit and utilise RPL towards formal qualifications.
