Emily’s Café offers delights
RMIT University has a chic new cafe space, available to the whole University community.
Emily’s Café is on the ground floor of the Emily McPherson Building (Building 13), home of the Graduate School of Business and Law, on the corner of Russell and Victoria streets on City campus.
The café opens from 8.30am to 8pm, Mondays to Thursdays, and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays.
Situated in the Emily McPherson Building’s student lounge, Emily’s provides an affordable, delicious and healthy range of meals, light snacks, drinks and desserts to eat in or take away, including vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Menu items include sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, hot pastries, mini dessert pots, breakfast burritos, vegie muffins, hot soups made fresh daily and served with crusty bread, salads, yoghurt tubs, fresh fruit salad and premium coffee.
There is also a large selection of international meals, including Italian, Indian, Mexican, Thai, Japanese and French cuisines.
The new café development includes couches, social booths and work areas, making it an the ideal environment for student groups collaborating on assignment work, individual student study, informal staff meetings and small social gatherings.
There is a range of newspapers, magazines and RMIT information available and access to RMIT wi-fi.
