His work explores Indigeniety from a global perspective, centring on the impact of familial and communal relationships and nonconventional ways of knowing—dreaming, intuition and blood memory. Benesiinaabandan is the 2013 guest of the RMIT iAIR / University of Lethbridge Indigenous residency exchange.
