University wide scholarships
University wide scholarships are open to all students across the University.

Australian Postgraduate Awards (APAs) For local doctoral or masters by research students, or commencing IPRS holders; a stipend of $27,653 per annum, fee-exempt place and other allowances and leave provisions; applications now closed for 2013.

Chile Bicentennial Research Scholarship For Chilean research students; worth tuition, travel and study allowance; applications now open.

DVC (R&I) PGR Student International Conference Grant For research students travelling to present at Conferences or workshops of International standing; worth up to $2000.

European Union Centre RMIT Travel Assistance Grant The European Union centre at RMIT grants assist with travel costs for HDR candidates to travel to EU member states for the purposes of research; worth up to $6,000; applications currently open.

Higher Degree by Research Publications Grant (HDRPG) For research students to financially assist to write publications after thesis/project submission; worth $27,653 annum pro rata; applications open March and August.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) For international students starting a higher degree by research (masters or PhD); worth tuition fees and the cost of an Overseas Student Health Cover policy for the duration of your program. Applications now closed

PhD Scholarship in Economics For PhD candidates to join an ARC funded project; worth $27,653 per annum; applications close 2 June 2013.
